Southern High School - 51 miles

Not riding for donuts this weekend?  Well, join us for this 51 miler!  (Seriously, there are a lot of people signed up for the donut ride.  This might be a pretty small group.)

This route is a (different) modified version of the popular 51 mile route that avoids the construction on McKendree Road. This version cuts the rough and busy Greenock Road and Brooks Woods Road in favor of staying on Bay Front to Route 2.  Then, we'll turn right on Route 2, then right on Jewell to rejoin the original route.

Weather forecast: Temperatures in the 60s-80s with light winds. Another great day for riding!  There is a slight chance of rain early; we'll keep an eye on it and let the registered riders know of any changes.

Route changes: If you have any concerns about the route, please alert RJ before Friday evening, so any changes can be made before everyone downloads the route to their computers. We'll only change the route on the day of the ride for serious problems, such as weather, mechanical or medical issues, or road construction.
