South Anne Arundel County (SoCo) Evening

Meet-up for 14-16 mph

Meet at Davidsonville Park on Patuxent River Road and be ready to ride by 5:00 PM for approximately 21-25 miles at ranging between 14-16 MPH depending on who participates.

(Note the first two weeks of this ride start at 5:00 pm; starting March 26, we'll move to 5:30.

We have multiple route options:

Route #1 - 21 miles

Route #2 - 26 miles

Route #3 - 25 miles

For #1 and #2, cyclists regroup at the gas station at the intersection of Harwood Road and Route 2, and participants can decide for themselves which route to take at that point.

Ride leader: TBD on who arrives.

If there is sufficient interest, the ride will break into smaller groups at different speeds.

In case of inclement weather: In general, we'll make a go/no-go decision around 4 p.m., based on the outlook during the riding hours. Of course, if the situation deteriorates after that, we may still need to cancel.

Route changes: To avoid confusion, we will only adjust the route due to serious issues, such as road closures, inclement weather, mechanical issues, and so on. Participants will agree on the day's route at the start of the ride.
