Metric Century (& 38) from Davidsonville Park - 16-18 mph

Time for a pre-Christmas Metric!  By request, we'll do a metric route from Davidsonville Park.  The route has several options for cutting off a few miles if you want to do something shorter.

(i.e. turn right at mile 21 and rejoin the last segment of the course for a total of 38 miles. Reduced speed is OK)

We'll regroup regularly to make sure no one is left behind for long.

Distance:  62.6 miles or 38 miles

Speed:  16-18 mph, heavily dependent upon who is there.  The metric will likely around 17 mph average, based on recent rides.  The 38 mile ride speed will be determined by the participants.

38 miles Route:  Ride With GPS link (one person has confirmed they are riding this route, so if you're planning to ride this, you will have company)

Weather:  As of Tuesday, 12/19, the temperature is predicted to be about 40 at the start, 45 at the end, with overcast skies, and no wind.  Consistent conditions are a lot easier to dress for!  Link to forecast.

Rest stops for the metric: 

• ~30.0 miles - Chesapeake Market & Deli in Rose Haven/North Beach
• ~44.5 miles -  If needed, the South County Cafe isn't far off the route in Deale
