Crank Away 2023 - 25/31/35 miles at 15-17 MPH & Social

From the Davidsonville Park and Ride Commuter Parking Lot.

Arrive by 9:30am to get ready and enjoy some team spirit and music. We will have coffee.

Event will have multiple routes and use the many of the same roads. Traffic should be light this morning.

The routes are a little shorter so members can get back and prepare for New Years Eve. See all 3 routes together here using a PC (not your phone) then select the one you will ride. Do this in advance and enter the route in your computer before you leave home. Or copy all 3 into your computer and decide upon arrival at the starting lot.

There is a wide shoulder at the end on Davidsonville Road leading to the parking lot. Will take short stand up rest breaks at stop signs. There is a Highs at mile 15 on the two longer routes.

24.5 mile route - leader TBD

31 mile route - leader TBD

35 mile route will led by John Tyrrell riding at 16-17 MPH and 18 MPH on the flats, but all may ride this route at any speed.

Social - Will include a champaign toast and sparkling cider toast to 2023 and music and bagels at the finish, compliments of the Club. Bring other drinks and snacks to share, if you desire.

It was a good year. Lets crank it away into the history books. Wear your ABC Club Jersey for a quick group photo at the end to commemorate 2023.
