Being Resked - Rain - AR NCR TCB Rail Trail 20-80 miles even as far as York, PA

This is the ABC Adventure Ride concept and it will evolve:

Optional - Meet in Glen Burnie at 07:30 and ride the light rail train to the end of the line in Hunt Valley with bicycles on board for $2 each way. OR You can also drive to the Hunt Valley Town Center Light Rail Station parking lot and gather there.

Then cycle to the trail head on Ashland Road 1.2 miles by 08:30 because there is very little parking at the trail head. 

Cycle the Northern Central Railroad Rail Trail (NCR Trail) properly known as the Torrey C. Brown Rail Trail any distance starting at the trail head in Hunt Valley. The adventurous can cycle 43 miles as far as the end in York, PA and return the same day. There is a lot to stop see on this route including bridges, tunnel, gnome village, restaurants, historical markers, animals, bars, etc.

The trail is high quality of crushed limestone and a road bike with Gatorskin tires will be fine. I have done that with success. A trail bike is even better, but slower.

The riders going all the way to York, PA will return the same day or next day. Bring your panniers and plenty of supplies if you are remaining over night. Might ride some additional miles around York.

Class 1 electric bicycles are permitted on the Torrey C. Brown Rail Trail.

This ride will meet the ABC Tour of Maryland Challenge for Baltimore County if you travel at least 20 miles.
