Note from the President:
Unfortunately the event was cancelled due to rain. Thank you Jim Miner, the rest stop captains, and all of the volunteers who came forward. You are all amazing members of ABC and our cycling community.
We thank you and appreciate you.
John
The annual Lifeline 100 annual ride will ride on Sunday, 10/2/2022.
ABC members run the rest stops.
Our ABC Volunteer Coordinator is Jim Miner who has done an outstanding job with this for many years.
We need you to contact Jim Miner at jnlminer1@gmail.com to sign up for a rest stop.
ABC members have staffed the 4 rest stops for about 8 years since the event's inception. This is our big annual event to support our county, city, and BikeAAA, and spread the good word about our club and grow our membership.
Our rest stops and Captains are:
- Bay Ridge swim club - Paul G
Needs 6-7 volunteers
- Galesville at Pirates Cove- Steve Graham
This is the only stop on the century loop and needs 5-6 volunteers
- Davidsonville century water stops - Larry Dieren
No additional volunteers are needed
This is a busy location and needs 9-10 volunteers
- Dixon Park at BWI - Tina McDermott
This is the busiest location and needs 12-13 volunteers
This is the link: https://lifeline100.com/
Please contact Jim Miner with your availability to volunteer with your first and second choice locations
We have scheduled our own ride of the routes a week before the public event so that we can enjoy the rides too, and socialize properly afterwards.
More to come.
