ABC Eastern Shore: 58 miles @ 17mph

John Tyrrell is leading a 58 mile ABC jersey ride from Queen Anne Royal Farms, 32303 Queen Anne Hwy, Queen Anne, MD 21657 a few miles from Chesapeake College down through Federalsburg and back through Denton with a stop at the Market Street Public House in Denton on the way back (http://marketstreet.pub/). Very flat. The route avoids US-50 and MD-404.

Leave at 8am. 16MPH minimum speed, average 17, no drop for maintenance. I’m told all of the restrooms and out houses are spotless.

UPDATE 6/26/2020:

Looks like we have 10 registered members for tomorrows eastern shore 58 which is great.

I'm not sure how much parking will be available at the Royal Farms and the Shell gas station next door so I'm going to park close by at Roosevelt Park 2-3 blocks away on Morgan Street. You can see it on Google Maps satellite view if you want to do the same thing.

The ride will still begin at the Royal Farms because not all registrants will see this email before the ride and that's  where the route begins in our computers.

We should also think about riding in 2 groups to break things up and for different speed desires. I'll ride at least 17MPH for whoever wants to do that. We'll have the pre ride meeting at 7:45 in the back of Royal Farms to talk about it.
