ABC AR Chesapeake College Century & Metric

The next Adventure Ride will visit the Eastern Shore for a relatively flat century ride that starts in Wye Mills at Chesapeake College and explores Maryland north of 404 and east of 301, including a jaunt into Delaware.

The century version will be led by John Tyrrell (tyrrell3527@gmail.com) and will travel around Tuckahoe State Park, visit a number of small towns in Queen Anne's, Caroline, and Kent counties with a planned stop at the Massey Aerodrome, and maybe a visit to Patriot Acres Farm Brewery. The  route has 1400' of elevation and the pace is expected to run at about 17.5 mph.

The metric version will be led by Len Jones (len_jones@verizon.net), and will share the century route for the first 36 miles through Queen Anne, Denton, and Sandtown, DE before returning to Chesapeake College via Ridgeley and cutting through Tuckahoe State Park.

The ride will start at 8:00 AM at Chesapeake College, 1000 College Cir, Wye Mills, MD 21679. If you would like to go, please register on the website and let your ride leader know you plan to attend.
