Broadneck Elementary Bike to School Day seeks volunteers to assist young cyclists on October 4th!

    My name is Mary van Andel and I am organizing a bike to school day for the students at Broadneck Elementary school in Arnold. This is our second time doing the event (on October 4th).     It took multiple police cars, dozens of parents and several committed organizers Wednesday to get hundreds of elementary school students in bright vests and

    I am reaching out  because we are looking for some experienced bikers who can help ride with the students to school and teach them about the etiquette and rules of riding in a bike train. 

    We think it would be very helpful if we had more riders who could serve as leaders and sweeps of our students. We found many parents--though they biked along--were not experienced enough to provide sufficient group control.
