We're excited to announce that we've reset the date for the 9th Annual SMECO 75 Bike Ride. The new date is October 17, 2020!! Register by September 19th to take advantage of the low rate of $50 and to be guaranteed a performance-wear jacket.
Cyclists are heading out again on the scenic 75-mile bike ride on June 6th. They’ll pedal through the byways of Southern Maryland to Colton’s Point on the shores of the Potomac River. Can’t quite make the 75-mile trip? Then try the 29- or 47-mile ride through Southern Maryland along portions of the scenic Three Notch Trail, it’s still an awesome ride.
Below you can check out the different routes, get more information about the ride and register now through September 19th to be guaranteed a performance-wear jacket and the early-bird rate:

Last year we received many compliments on the fun rest stops, the friendly volunteers, and the great organization of the event. And this year will be even better! When you take a break to refuel at one of our three rest stops (and one water-only stop) located on the route, be sure to ask for the crowd favorite, our very popular Nutella sandwiches. Get back on the route and meet us back in Hughesville for a sub-sandwich lunch at the end of the ride.
Proceeds from the 2020 bike ride will benefit local organizations in Southern Maryland that are working to end the opioid crisis.
Additionally, we are looking for sponsors for our 2020 event. Please visit https://smeco.coop/community/smeco75to learn about sponsorship opportunities.
