It’s a relatively short ride (36 miles) but makes up for it by being very hilly (2300 feet of climbing). The course is very scenic with three covered bridges, a view of the mountains, hopefully some fall colors and roads which are very lightly travelled (at least on a weekday – the leaf peepers only come out on the weekend!). After the ride, those who are interested can join us for lunch at a nearby Italian restaurant. I’ll have cue sheets so those who want to run ahead to the next covered bridge can do so. The rain date is one week later, 9 October.
