Please join us on Wednesday morning, September 9, 2015 at 8:30 AM to ride to the 9:30 AM ceremony/press conference at the Maryland State House in Annapolis in support of the proposed Grand History Trail.
For more information contact Jon Korin or Susan Robinson.
A group of 8-10 cyclists will be in Annapolis during their inaugural ride originating in York, PA and continuing on a 250 mile Grand History Trail proposed route with stops in Gettysburg, Frederick, Alexandria, Annapolis and Baltimore. The trail concept would link the rich historical regions of southern Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia and Washington, DC. with a trail suitable for biking, walking and running.
We plan to meet at 8:30 AM at the Earleigh Heights Ranger Station adjacent to the B&A Trial in Severna Park and ride the approximate 11 miles down the B&A Trail to the Maryland State House in Annapolis. After the event we will ride back up the B&A Trail with the Grand History Trail cyclists as far as the Earleigh Heights Ranger Station and they will continue on to Baltimore.
