2015 TOUR de TALBOT
Riding for Clean Rivers
Midshore Riverkeeper Conservancy welcomes you to ride the beautiful back roads of Talbot and Queen Anne’s Counties in support of clean water for our Midshore rivers and the Chesapeake Bay.
Register now and save the date to experience the spectacular scenery and rich history of Maryland’s Eastern Shore on your choice of three flat routes.
RIDES: 62 miles (metric century), 35 miles, and 20 miles bike rides. Route maps available online. There will also be a free children’s ride around the Chesapeake College campus, of Maryland’s Eastern Shore. EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT until July 31, 2015.
When: Sunday, September 20, 2015
Times: Metric century will kickoff at 8:00 am, followed by the 35-mile and 20-mile ride at 10:00 am.
Where: NEW LOCATION! Starts and ends at Chesapeake College on the Wye River, 1000 College Circle, Wye Mills, Maryland 21679
Rest Stops: Waterfront rest stops with food and drink will be provided on all rides.
SAG Support: Support and Gear support will be provided on all rides.
Post-Ride Food & Music: All rides culminate with an outdoor barbecue celebration on the river, including live music and a vegetarian option. Food will be served until all riders return.
