The Arc Northern Chesapeake Region to Host
First Annual Harford Hills Bike Adventure
The Arc Northern Chesapeake Region, a non-profit that helps people with intellectual and developmental disabilities build better lives, will host its first annual Harford Hills Bike Adventure on Saturday, April 27, 2013.
The ride will begin and end at the historic Steppingstone Farm Museum in Havre de Grace, Maryland. Participants can choose between a 31 or 64 mile loop through the scenic hills of Harford County and along the Susquehanna River. The starting time for both routes is between 8:00 and 9:00 a.m. and all riders are required to wear helmets.
According to The Arc Northern Chesapeake Region development director Julie Chmura, the event is designed to be a fun way to bring the community together while celebrating the vision of The Arc Northern Chesapeake Region to help individuals with disabilities lead personally-valued lives.
Early registration is $65 per rider and will increase to $70 on March 8, 2013 and $75 on April 12, 2013. All riders must register online at active.com. All registered participants will receive an event shirt, complementary post-event food and drink and free admission to the Steppingstone Farm Museum. All proceeds will benefit The Arc Northern Chesapeake Region.
