  • Bestgate Park, on Bestgate Road near the intersection with Admiral Drive

A group of 8 cyclists from Colorado has requested our assistance navigating through Annapolis on their way north on the East Coast Greenway with some sightseeing along the way. Jon Korin and Jim Black will meet the group at Bestgate Park at 2 PM on Wednesday June 1st and guide them through Annapolis and Eastport with a stop or two at the harbor. If there is time, we will include the Lifeline 100 route across Weems Creek, down to the end of Bay Ridge Avenue to take in the view of the Bay Bridge.

Club members are welcome to ride along with the group all the way to their destination in Glen Burnie, or just for a few miles. The pace will be slow with stops for sightseeing.

The meeting time is subject to change due to flat tires etc, so please write/text/call Jim for updates. 202-320-7932.

The group is riding to raise money for research on Huntington's Disease:

We are starting in Pittsburgh with destination Baltimore for the Huntington’s Disease Convention June 3-4.

We are from Colorado, Ohio, Michigan, California, Utah, New York –all connected by HD.

This is our 18th bicycle ride fundraiser for HD, and our website is bikeforthecure.org
